A chance visit led Mary and Jim Ardito to start taking homemade dishes, mostly desserts, to the firefighters at least once a week. But the fellowship is as important as the sweets. The call comes into the Pomona fire station at least once a week: “Hi, it’s Mary. You guys busy?”
