RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) – A North Carolina fire department is saving rainwater to wash its trucks. The News & Observer reported Tuesday that the Raleigh Fire Department has installed cisterns to catch rainfall at nine of its fire stations, plus one county station and an ambulance facility.
