DuBOIS – Three women were rescued by DuBois firefighters from a fire Thursday night at 114 N. State St. DuBois Fire Chief Jim Corby said the alarm was called in at 11:50 p.m. as a structure fire with entrapment by the occupants on the second-floor.

Alamosa fire / rescue and police officers responded to 1541 San Juan Ave., at approximately 9:45 p.m. Tuesday on a report of a structure fire. Firefighters found a chimney fire at the residence had poured smoke into the home’s attic area as well. There were no reported injuries and further details were not immediately available.

The woman rescued by Fresno Firefighters Monday morning has died from her injuries. Fire crews responded to the structure fire within three minutes and rescued the female victim, provided emergency care and transported her to Fresno Regional Medical Center but she did not survive.
