While no one was harmed during a March 3 structure fire at the Camp Agnes DeWitt Girl Scout Camp, the Hillsborough Police Department and Hillsborough Fire Safety Department are investigating the blaze that destroyed the campâs program center.

KINGSFORD – Firefighers were called to a structure fire in the 500 block of South Hemlock Street in Kingsford. Kingsford Public Safety Department personnel were called in at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Other area fire departments were notified to be on stand-by at that time. For details, see Wednesday’s Daily News.

Firefighters are on the scene of a two alarm fire at a house on Madison Avenue in Winchester. The call came in around 6 a.m. Wednesday. Winchester fire chief Daniel Castle told LEX 18 that firefighters broke into the occupants bedroom and pulled him to safety. The victim, an elderly man, was taken to the hospital.
