WEIRTON – The Fourth of July holiday is fast approaching and the Weirton Fire Department is reminding citizens of the law regarding the fireworks as well as safety factors.
A joint agreement between the Three Rivers and the Fabius Park fire departments that calls for both agencies to respond to a suspected or confirmed structure fire or life-safety issue, regardless of the location, took effect last week.
